On OSX and have iTunes configured to Copy iTunes media to library
- Match some songs that aren't currently in iTunes library, Itunes will copy the file to media folder and return the new media path to our iTunes model
- Then rerun match (without restarting SongKong) this wont match anything our model because match is done on locations and orig location doesn't match media location, so SongKong will add as new file again (which is correct really because as far as iTunes concerned we our reading a new file)
- But because file destination location already in iTunes just ignored if metadata the same, or added as another song if metadata changed (i.e changed classical options)
Doesn't make much sense if you have iTunes managing files to rerun against original files rather than the iTunes managed ones but does user realize this, should they be warned.
e.g 'You already added this song to iTunes and iTunes has now copied it'.
Perhaps we should inform user how many files already in iTunes, newly added ecetera. Also by comparing model file or newly added file orig location to location returned by iTunes we can tell if iTunes is managing files or not.
