Would be great having it running natively on a NAS, like QNAP / Synology so it can run live and keeps the library up to date. As you have already a Linux version the step for making a QKPG for QNAP is quite small I guess. (and yes I do have a QNAP).
Running directly on NAS:
1. Faster because file access is local
2. Because NAS run 24 hours and are not moved around it is easier to keep SongKong running permanently then if SongKong was running on a desktop PC that needs rebooting from time to time or a laptop that might getting moved around.
